Unless you are a technology that depends on the feeding of the military industrial complex it’s hard to make a case for the post 9-11 decade making us any stronger. It certainly hasn’t made us any better. Just take a look around. If anything the opposite seems more true. Of course we haven’t had any more towers come down, but we never had any come down prior to 9-11 either, and it wasn’t because we were lacking in enemies.
In a word NO. Our economy is a disaster because we have spent 3.3 trillion dollars on wars and security that did little if anything to make us safer and was all borrowed. We have given up freedoms we used to take for granted – your papers please. The US is no longer the worlds moral compass.
