Cheney clearly broke the law and admits it. So why is he allowed to escape justice? Do our laws mean anything? Or is it okay because he was once a vp? Is the Obama DOJ afraid of him?

All I know is this man disgraced America and there seems to be no penalty.

The comment reminds me to ask,,,,,,,,did tidbits ever say he was departing this fine forum? I hate to have to do his work for him…….Mr. Smith, it does you no good to display your lack of knowledge in public, much less use it as a basis to attack the courage of the Attorney General of these United States.

Cheney admits to supporting the use of water boarding…Cheney does not admit he broke the law…..small difference to you…..huge difference under the law.
And even if you get the Supremes to rule water boarding was illegal at the time it was
used, where are the prosecution exhibits that Cheney DIRECTLY ordered it’s use in a
specific circumstance and the application flowed immediately therefrom?

If you are relying on the assertion the culpability unlimitedly passes up the chain of authority, then you might want to have Eric Holder first test that out under non military law on the immediate supervisor of the soldiers carrying out the water boarding.

In this case, Obama was no dummy……what was his phrase?…….let’s look forward?

casualobserver… tidbits you are not, your ‘way’ of looking at this issue is proof positive.

Mr. Cheney IS a criminal and hopefully his big mouth will finally get him what he so rightfully deserves.
