The interesting thing is, even with their handlers, the first tier candidates seem to be putting their collective feet in their collective mouths daily- McCain now claims he "misspoke" during his stroll through the Baghdad market, Giuliani is having to explain his choice of Bernard Kerik as his checkered past is revealed, and Romney made the hunting gaffe. Clinton seems to be unable to reconcile her vote on the war with her party's position, and Obama has lost his halo with the press, and at times has appeared very thin-skinned around them.
