For Karl Rove, it is all about winning no matter the consequences.

Rove may have reared his ugly head elsewhere, but please recall that it was George H.W. Bush who came to him and said, in so many words, that he had run out of things for his worthless son to screw up and thought that Rove could tutor him in the ways of politics.

The rest, as they say, is history.
