How can Bush and these men claim to value American ideals yet pursue these actions? If you believe that imprisonment without evidence or proper trials are ok, and that torture is ok, and that evidence gained by torture is ok, what exactly are the American values you claim to love? I was raised that our guarantees of protection from, and belief in the evil of those methods was the core of our values. You cannot both claim to be a true American, yet toture and imprison without cause or proof. It simply doesn't work that way. Its merely paying lip service to the ideals this country was founded on while you piss all over them. These stories make me sick.
