And so we remember — but never forget there were human beings behind the cold numbers of the 30 who died when insurgents shot down there helicopter. Faces behind the names. And here they are.

Wow, three from our area. Nearly all of these guys family men and so many with pregnant wives. Navy Army and Air Force represented among the dead.
May they see and abide with God forever. May God bless their wives, children, and, parents and may God bless the United States.
One of the Navy Seals killed, Chief Petty Officer Matt Mills, 36, was from nearby Bastrop, Texas
My condolences to his family and friends.
In “modern war” Winston also said it best,
“Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few”
