Pakistan cannot do anything without the tacit approval of the United States of America. And the world knows this.
Here comes the news of Pakistan testing nuclear-capable missile today. People living in South Asia wonder what games President George Bush and President Pervez Musharraf are playing, with the US Congress watching all this with intriguing silence.
A latest report states that “Pakistan successfully test-fired an indigenously developed short-range nuclear-capable missile on Saturday, the military said. The surface-to-surface Abdali ballistic missile – which has a range of 200 kilometers and was launched from an undisclosed location inside Pakistan – can carry all types of warheads,’ the military said in a statement issued from Rawalpindi, a garrison city near the capital, Islamabad.”
The US administration is dumping American taxpayers money in Pakistan with no visible accountability. Which means that the silence of Americans makes them accomplices in the goings-on of the nefarious activities in Pakistan.
“In a key finding of an investigative study by the Washington-based organization that does investigative reporting and research on significant public issues Center for Public Integrity, the U.S. military aid to Pakistan soared to $4.2 billion after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack compared to $9.1 million in the three years before the attack boosting Pakistan to the top tier of countries receiving military funding.
“The Center for Public Integrity revealed the U.S. military support to Pakistan using data assembled through Freedom of Information Act requests…”

Ok, that’s the stupidest thing I’ve read all week. It’s stupid on its face. Pakistan has been signing its federal administered tribal areas over to the Taliban and Al Qaeda for several months now – are we to believe the US approved this? Ridiculous. Guess which country the US just signed a comprehensive nuclear agreement with that legitimized their covert nuclear weapons program? INDIA! Guess who didn’t and will probably never get such an agreement? PAKISTAN! Yet Pakistan is our puppet – yeah right.
And Pakistan did not test a nuclear missile, as your headline falsely reads, it tested a nuclear-capable missile (an important difference) with a whopping range of 120 miles – enough range to hit perhaps 5% of Indian territory. I’m sure India with quacking in it’s boots from that.

They will never want India to stand against America and become a super power. All these favourisms are temporary, world will see how much cooperation India gets in nuclear sector and how long the Aid will go to Pakistan. Both country’s economy is based on foreign countries. what if the foreign companies stop buying software from India and abandoned the Call center Idea? All UK and other country’s public is fed up with call centers based in India but companies can not just abadon these call centers as they have invested too much and are in contract. Why not let India and Pakistan leave open for another war so that Whenever India is becoming a problem make them invest too much in defence.

Surfer: Balance of power certainly exists between Pakistan and India, that is why the Indians marched a million troops to the border in 2002 and then marched them right back.
Pakistanis have smaller economy and smaller numbers than Indians,no other difference. If there is an Indian engineer working somewhere or an Indian sitting in a boardroom, you will Pakistanis working on similar rank. You will find Bengalis, Nepalis and Sri Lankans as well but your racist Indian eyes might not recognize them.
