When Momma Aint Happy, Aint Nobody Happy: Nancy Pelosi
It will be interesting to see what Nancy Pelosi decides to say and do. Apparently she has been missing from the cameras and airwaves since Obama announced a compromise had, in plan, been reached just an hour ago. She could come out slugging, or in Throw Mama From the Train persona.
Reasoned hope says for many of us, let the posturing be over now, there’s been so much of it, some of us would rather watch B movies and eat dusty licorice that fell behind the refrigerator last year, than see any more of the C, D, and F acting attempts by congresspeople.

I hope she sticks it to the teabillies. Let the darn thing default on their heads. It’ll be the business jerks that hurt the worst. They need to be slapped down for this rotten conspiracy against the weakest among us!
Pelosi is irrelevant. She is a poor leader and led a failed House that was resoundingly defeated in 2010.
By all rights, she should have retired.
Like Pelosi or not, she has more in the way of spherical fortitude than most of the abysmal lot she has to deal with day in and day out.
She played no part in the deal — it was Boehner and Reid, with some “work” by Obama (not good), and in the end they got a deal.
(What was that lunacy of some spending cuts, but Obama got more funding for Pell Grants? [shaking head] How out of touch and also bizarre. He doesn’t believe he can still get a lot of college groupies that are starry-eyed to be for him the way they were in 2008, does he?)
Frankly DLS, her playing no part in the deal is an advantage. Who would want that nonsense on their resume?
