		<description>I have to admit that the essay made me very sad.  The names Pakistan, Afghanista and Iraq have come trigger images of discontent, conflict and war.  The images that could nourish the soul are faint.

Even todayâ€™s Afghanistan has some shared heritage with India. Khandahar has its roots in Gandhara! The name â€˜Kabuliwallahâ€™ still sounds familiar to Indian minds!
