A Delicious Festival Of The 1970s

Legendary insult comedian Don Rickles (who once sang out of key while sitting behind me when I attended a Jewish synagogue service in Los Angeles) and some celebrities who were at the top of their fame in the 1970s sing (mostly on key) “I’m A Nice Guy”:

I saw Don Rickles show (sans the high priced extras) at Harrahs Tahoe in the late 70s and it was great.

Rickles never seemed funny on TV, probably because his ‘cleaned up’ act made him appear annoying instead of funny but he was hilarious in person.

Live, when he could be a little more nasty, he was great and, believe it or not, he came across ‘a nice guy’.
