Even population migration to the Sunbelt (more GOP for now, “Hemoglobin Nation”) from the wrecked Sunbelt (“Cyanide Nation”) has its demographic component. Blacks will relocate to the South(east) in record numbers, and blacks continue to be overwhelimingly Democratic voters.

As the non-minority population ages, it should be more conservative as it gets wiser — but people are used to entitlements when they are old, and it is the Democratic Party that has enshrined welfare programs for the elderly and should do even better by extending Medicare to more people.

If you really look at the data, most of the 16 Congressional seats that blue states will lose will probably come from the few remaining Republican District in those states. NJ and Penn. will , of course to continue to vote Democratic in Presidential elections and with increasing numbers due to population changes. But, the states Congressional delegations will become more blue as redistricting as used to eliminate Republican districts in the increasingly blue. There may quickly become a time when there is not a single Republican Congressional District north of Virginia and East of Ohio.
