		<description>Some fault must be laid at Congress&#039; feet for approving Gonzales&#039; nomination in the first place. It must have been fairly obvious that he would continue to work as the White House counsel , narrowly defining his role as defending the administration, rather than working for the good of the country.  Like Harriet Miers, he has been with Bush since the &#039;80&#039;s in Texas, and is loyal to one man and one man only. 

The only silver lining to all of this is that neither he or Miers was  approved to be on the SCOTUS. You really have to question the judgment of a president who, with all of the brilliant legal minds in America, would focus his attention on these two.</description>
