		<description>Reminds me of the line in &lt;em&gt;Darby O&#039;Gill and the Little People&lt;/em&gt;, where Darby tells the assembled company in the pub that there is only one truly happy man anywhere...the village idiot.  And then there was the actual incident of an Irish band at a concert at Wolf Trap, broadcast on &lt;em&gt;The Thistle and Shamrock&lt;/em&gt;.  The singer noted between songs that lots of people think Irish music can be terribly gloomy, and he replied that this was because the Irish are a people of great sadness, broken by occasional irrational flashes of gaiety.

Good true Irish humor has that dry slyness to it that forces you to grin at the least.</description>
