This is the kind of loyalty that this administration prizes above all else. For those who persist in claiming Libby's innocence, many in Watergate went to jail not for the break-in but for perjury and obstruction-the very crimes Libby was found guilty of. It is totally obvious that the plan is to have Libby ride out the appeal process, staying out of jail until his eventual pardon by President Bush.
