He may be knowledgeable about the overall nuclear scene, I doubt if he has specific information on current nuclear development. He is probably the closest the CIA/Mossad had to a source so he was grabbed. It sounds more like a Mossad operation than CIA. It's probably too risky for the USA to do a grab and snatch operation given our need for Turkey as a strategic partner and our current tensions over the PKK and Kirkuk.
