Tony Perkins says that if gays and lesbians are allowed to serve openly in the military, “tens of thousands” of soldiers will either leave the armed forces or never join. And he accused equal rights advocates of sacrificing the security of the nation for a political agenda?

So its fine with Perkins that the armed services are allowing recruits with past criminal convictions along with skinheads to join up as long as we don’t allow homosexuals to defend our country? Fortunately, this policy won’t be determined by narrow-minded bigots like Tony Perkins.
Well, at least according to Wiki TP isn’t a chicken hawk.
Perkins, a graduate of Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia entered the United States Marine Corps after graduation. It’s interesting that one of the first Marines wounded in this Iraq war just came out and admitted he is gay. I wonder if he recieved any blood transfusions from straight donors. Could a straight transfusion cure his “life in Sodom”? Or would his system reject macho straight blood?
Rudi-Maybe he could go to the same rehab that Ted Haggarty went to to take the “cure”.:)
