    I saw this clip on cspan the day of his announcement. We went down, from Rockford, IL and drove 3 hrs. to Springfield.
    That night cspan was rerunning it and they show this and it blew me away. Everything he talked about in it came to pass.
    The man is amazing.

    Yup, that’s very impressive. That smart newcomer retrospectively makes most ‘established’ pols look like the slow witted fools that they are. And imho (but maybe that’s an overly optimistic hope), US voters will want to elect a candidate for president who’s been right on the most important decision of the recent years. Even John Edwards’ apology might not be good enough – who wants to take a chance that he’ll make the right choice next time? And Hillary shows by her stepdancing around the issue that she’s not made of the stuff that real ‘deciders’ are from.

    Obama may lack experience, but he’s got the smarts to know whats up when he sees it. Unlike some administrations.
