Franken also doesn’t show any respect for his political opponents, and so would be a poor choice for the Senate, where that is a necessary quality. Unfortunately, he has name-recognition, money and ambition, so we may see him facing off with Norm Coleman. That would be a bad move for the Dems, as Coleman is vulnerable due to his support for the war.

franken was a flop because he didnt respect his audience…that is why he never took calls

one cant succeed in the radio talk biz if you think that you and your guests are smarter than the audience you are trying to get ratings from

the same reasoning will doom his senatorial bid

Franken’s politics drives me insane-always critical and never offering solutions for anything. He makes Norm Coleman look good!

Democrats need to consider another NYC entertainer who was born in Minnesota (Bobby Zimmerman from Hibbing). He’s better known, funnier, and his gnostic utterances will sound wiser than Franken’s drivel.
