Forget all the brouhaha about Feng Shui philosophy (energy flow? nonsense), just see it as a set of rules how to design rooms to make humans feel comfortable in them (and maybe not only humans, but other primates as well). And then remember, the Chinese had some thousand years to figure this out. I don't know much about it, but what I read about the guidelines makes sense to me. Imho it's just some psychological experiences framed into a rulebook.
