Comment moderation issue

Hello TMV’ers.

Since we have switched back to standard comments, there have been a large amount of auto-moderate comments appearing. I did some investigating and found that the comment spam filters were treating many of you like active cyber criminals. I went through the configuration and scaled things back a tad and noticed the comments auto-approved. So there may be some duplicate comments on post.

Nevertheless, the issue is resolved. I will keep monitoring the spam filters and tweak them as needed.

    Hmm. I hadn’t noticed it being the spam filters that now treat us like cyber criminals, but thanks for at least fixing that overly aggressive system.

    To all and also thanks Tyrone! The problem of automoderating also showed up yesterday and a commenter sent me an email alerting us. I sent Tyrone a note, and he fixed it almost immediately. Kudos Tyrone. You’re the guy. And thanks commenter for letting me know.

    We still do believe in innocent until proven guilty.. Right?? LOL! Spam filters were becoming judge, jury, and executioner.
