Funny and sad at all once. I guess there are crazy people everywhere. I really love how Jewish women are directly responsible for ‘feminism’ (which is an evil according to this broadcast). I guess the Extreme Iranians share that thought with their Conservative counterparts in the USA.
That’s one thing that is interesting to look at, how those with really strong religious beliefs and a willingness to politicize them usually share the most irrational and horrible attitudes when it comes to trying to push back progress. Theocracies aren’t much good at building a future, and are most often used to settle old scores and maintain a rigid status quo. a ‘extremist’ Iranisn is likely to agree with a ‘far right conservative’ in the US on many things: The teaching of religion in schools, ignoring science when it doesn’t support their religious POV, the desire to maintain control systems from previous times, a distrust of ‘outsiders’ and a willingness to die for their religious beliefs.
