Oh, for heaven;s sakes. She never hid her political bent.
Are Republican obligated to say biting things about other Republican?
Are Democrats obligated to rip into other Democrats?

It might be a good thing, but not a likely one.

I liked her because she was FUNNY.

I wonder if anyone could ever find any negative comments that Molly Ivins ever wrote about Ann Richards or Jim Hightower. Jim Hightower was a complete failure as the agriculture commisisoner of Texas and is probably the biggest poser in Texas politics but I doubt that Ms. Ivins would ever have written the least thing negative about him.

Every obituary has talking about her “biting commenary” but that bite seemed to stop when it came to liberal Democrats and minorities.
