I have been to Canada but only to Ontario (Windsor & Toronto) and those trips were more than 30 years ago.

And to combat the cynicsm, around every social movement there will be leaders and those who drag behind the majority. Just because the conservatives were slow in this realm doesn’t make them bad people =)

If you’ve never been (and don’t want to travel to Canada) I highly recommend the Hoh Rainforest in Washington State. Absoluetly gorgeous example of a temperate rainforest.
