The football team of the city in which I resided for more than 20 years (Indianapolis Colts) will be playing the football team of the city in which I was born (Chicago Bears) in the NFL Super Bowl on Feb. 4th!

Indianapolis Star: Super Bowl bound!
John at AMERICAblog on Da Bears
Yell, scream, and Go Horse!
I lived in Indiana for about 15 years, during the dark days of the Colts. I wasn’t really a fan of them just because they were geographically close. After I went away to college, I became a fan because of the individuals they assembled to form a team. No choreographed touchdown dances. No dancing on opponents’ logos. No fake suicide attempts. Just quality football by decent human beings. I’m happy to see them finally break through.
Cut that meat!
Well, I lived outside of Indy, and “covered” the controversial arrival of the Colts in the city (Phojo school). But my wife is a born and bred Ditka-era Bears fan.
I’m going with Da Bears, ’cause I’ve been married a while and want to stay that way.
Lovie is the lowest paid head coach in the league. So my broke ass is rooting for…DA BURRS!!!
