It's true about language though, it does have an effect on people, though the effect is somewhat limited. There comes a point where no pretty words are going to convince you of anyhthing. The administration has been masterful (and the media slavish) in the managing of the language. If they had put half as much effort into the actual war than the have into the selling of the war, maybe things wouldn't be quite as messed up there.
