You know, I think I came off as snotty or hostile and I didn't mean it that way. I just thought of Vote-Smart as soon as I saw your posting. I love that site. It's an encyclopedia of information.

Vote-Smart.org is the place to go for info on Congress and other representation. I can state legislators at Vote-Smart.org, even. They also have the governors. Plus a ton of additional information. So much, in fact, that it is really a phenomenal resource. I mean, not to denigrate the cool map site, but that place isn't even close to Vote-Smart.org in terms of the quantity of information. They also have contact info for everyone.

Between Vote-Smart.org and OpenSecrets.org, the elected official ground is incredibly well-covered. I have no idea what putting little red and blue flags on a map adds to it.
