The right wants to teach creationism in science class. It wants to act without thinking. It claims moral integrity for sending others to die for it and calls traitor those who ask why. It says todays immigrants are a drain on the system, but THEIR ancestors were deserving of the american dream. It launches and defends a war made on a whim, while the real terrorists go unhunted by overstretched US forces. Its poor vote for a silver spoon Yale educated oil millionaire because he's "one of them". Conservative arrogance has marked the end of all great empires. The right does not know what its doing. It didn't work and neither will this. At best, we're trying to expand the green zone to pretend the country is Baghdad, like we pretend Kabul is Afghanistan. And if we can sell that pretense to Americans--the pretense that Maliki is more than the mayor of Baghdad or Karzai is more than the mayor of Kabul--then we can slink away and pretend we "won".
