Spurious Rumor Alert

cheney_rice.jpg

Is John D. Negroponte’s selection as deputy secretary of state a stepping stone to taking over from Condoleezza Rice as secretary of state?

Will Condi then replace the ailing Dick Cheney as vice president?

It’s sure fun to speculate, isn’t it?

The most incompetent NSA in US history, the most overpraised State Sec ever, and the Peter Principle could make her rise to challenge the most evil VP ever. Pass the party favors. Sheesh.

  2. BeYourGuest says:

There have been predictions that Cheney would resign for a long, long time. (See, for example, this LINK from February 2004.) He’s still there.

    I’ll believe he’s leaving when he’s gone.

Condi replaces Cheney and Bush resigns, she appoints Rumsfeld as VP. Yes the plot is totally clear to me now.

grognard – if that is what is perfectly clear to you, then you must have switched from grog to beer, and are wearing your beer-goggles!

When the major policies of an administration are losers- does it really matter which of the players swap positions? Its like moving pieces around in a board game. Unless the big cheese (Bush) leaves, the outcome will still stink to high heaven. Even if Cheney were to go, it would be suspect in my mind as a PR move- intended to pacify a dissatisfied public. Cheney would probably still hold the reins of power, he would just recede into the background.

I think it would be very clever to elevate Condi to VP as a part of trying to burnish Bush’s legacy. Minimal Risk and maximum positive impact.

Condi has NEVER been elected to any position, not even dog catcher. It is pundits pushing her as a candidate. I doubt if she could handle a campaign. She is an intellectual, not a politician. She would probably run an Allen type campaign. What is Russian for monkey maccaca?

Austin, LOL, and I have my beer goggles on at 6 am!

  9. Des says:

Condi was elected President. They spent alot of time at night, late, alone, in the Texas Mansion, studying Rice’s WMD degree. Why do you think the WMD became an issue before the war and Plame used it^

Negorponte is going there because she has no idea of what she is doing. She is destorying some agencies. Alot might have to do with Shays and Fiji. Like Shayes, Negroponte made a deal to get where he is and, to most, it looks Indian.

Anyway, what if we could convince Rice to run for President^ She would leave andd that’s all that’s wanted. Yup, this is how you get rid of a bad salesman, promise him this great job somewhere else!

I repeat: ‘The most incompetent NSA in US history, the most overpraised State Sec ever’- where have you been the last 6 years?

Yeah I think Condi takes over for Chenny. Bush Resigns. Condi nominates Colin Powell as VP then the two moderate blacks run against The democrats with Arnold as the next Secretary of Defense calling everyone that wont stand up and do battle……..GIRLIEMEN.

What a great scenario. That way Hillary and Obama might just have to fight back by hiring Jefferson from Minnesota to be the next secretary of state so he can go to Iran and give all the state secrets to them, surrender the USA to Islamic fascism and we all can then wear birkas and you can cuss Muslims as much as you cuss Christians now.

I love conspiracy theories…….The problem is that all you far left conspiracy whackos came to a religious war as Aethiests/Agnostics…….YOUR NOT WELCOME…..go away.
